FAQ's
1. What do you mean by "unsubstantiated rumors"?
* Any piece of information that cannot be proven true.
2. Is the posting of all rumors off-limits?
* No. Rumors concerning possible release dates, trailers, public appearances, set locations, casting decisions, etc. can be posted; but until the information is verified by an official source, it should be clearly labeled as a rumor.
3. What do you mean by "stalking"?
* According to The American Heritage® Dictionary of the English Language, Fourth Edition, the definition of stalking is "to follow or observe (a person) persistently, especially out of obsession or derangement". We at Twilight Uninterrupted use the term "stalking" to define any action taken to gain unauthorized information about a person or persons without their knowledge or consent. A more detailed explanation of stalking can be found here.
4. What are considered "official sources"?
* Press releases, interviews, and news stories published or presented with the cooperation of the actor, actress, director, production company, etc. Example: set reports by an authorized news agency or writer. **NOT someone who has gate-crashed a location shoot, heard something from "a friend of a friend", or overheard a private conversation of the person or persons in question**
5. Is any personal information acceptable?
* No – not unless it has been published with the knowledge and consent of the person in question. For example: if, in the course of a published interview, an actor/actress discusses the fact that he/she prefers their coffee black, feel free to talk about it; however, if the same information is gained by someone who was behind said actor/actress in line at Starbucks and only overheard how he/she ordered their coffee, that information should be considered off-limits in a published forum. Yes, how someone takes their coffee is trivial, but this example is meant to illustrate that no matter how "unimportant" a piece of personal information might seem, it does not negate the fact that it is still PERSONAL and, therefore, OFF-LIMITS.
6. Our site has gained some information that we would like to verify before posting, but we do not know the best way to go about it or who to contact.
* Contact a staff member at Twilight Uninterrupted and explain the nature of the information (who/what it is about) and we will help you figure out who to contact for verification.
7. We discovered a site NOT affiliated with Twilight Uninterrupted that is posting rumors as news, personal information, unauthorized media, etc. What should we do?
